I’m married to an amazing man who I get to nerd out with everyday! Going out with a fellow nerd was the best decision of my life! We have bought our first home together and live with our hyperactive cat, Matilda.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar in 2012 and have been blogging about my experiences ever since. I’m currently writing freelance full time on a number of topics, but predominantly I would like to focus on mental health.

I’m a self confessed nerd and love; star trek, star wars, doctor who, comics, anime and all things nintendo – especially the zelda series.

I have always loved to read and a few of my favourite authors are; Iain Banks, Angela Carter, Haruki Murakami, Phillip Pullman, Ursula Le Guin

I’m partial to a good coffee and worked as a barista for three years, which has turned me into a certified coffee snob!

I adore bright colours, cats, bears, lizards, ridiculously hot weather, shoes, bags, football, formula 1, cooking and baking, long chats with my mum, spending time with my family, dancing badly, music festivals, make up, cuddles with my niece, contemporary art, having a rant and being slightly too political!
